The area's signature stop: the Northwest's largest theme park, with more than 70 rides, slides, shows and attractions, including four roller coasters, Boulder Beach Water Park and a steam engine train. Check the park's calendar before you go, since it runs seasonally (Silverwood).

Tubbs Hill Natural Area

3rd Street parking lot by McEuen Park, Coeur d'Alene, ID 83814 · about 10 min drive (3.8 mi)

A 165-acre city natural area bordered by Lake Coeur d'Alene, with a 2.2-mile interpretive trail around the hill. The west trailhead is in the southwest corner of McEuen Park, by the 3rd Street lot (City of Coeur d'Alene).
