North Vernon, Indiana · 604 N State St, North Vernon, IN 47265
Last verified 2026-10-22
Field surface: Turf infields on the tournament diamonds; outfields not stated
Partly verified. Ohio Valley Sports, which runs the USSSA baseball tournaments here, says all of the diamonds have turf infields, and the city's 2025 parks master plan describes newly turfed baseball fields that are drawing regional tournaments. Neither source describes the outfields or says every softball field is turfed, so check your field if surface matters. (7 diamond fields in North Vernon's park system, all at City Park, including a four-field baseball quadplex that the city reworked in 2024, plus softball fields (City of North Vernon 2025 Parks and Recreation Master Plan, draft).)
