Field surface: Turf infields
Turf infields. The City of Independence says turf infields were installed on the complex's ballfields. We haven't found an official note on the outfields, so expect turf infields and check your field if outfield surface matters. (5 ball fields: Fields 1 and 2 at 280 feet, Field 3 at 245 feet, and Fields 4 and 5 with movable fences, plus lights, batting cages and a concession stand (City of Independence).)
