- Bring chairs, a pop-up canopy, sunscreen and water; Missoula summer afternoons get hot, and wildfire smoke can roll in during late summer, so check air quality before game day. Surfaces aren't confirmed, so ask your tournament director about footwear.
- Five of the seven diamonds are lighted, so night games are possible, and mountain evenings cool off quickly; pack a warm layer (City of Missoula).
- The park has playgrounds and a dog park for siblings and downtime, and the Home Plate Grill sits in the middle of the tournament fields (City of Missoula; Missoula Softball Association).
