Dirt infields. The City of Chubbuck's Parks Master Development Plan lists Capell Park's three ball fields with skinned infields and warning tracks. It doesn't describe the outfields, so we haven't confirmed the outfield surface. (3 ball fields with skinned infields and warning tracks in a 17.5-acre City of Chubbuck community park, alongside the 8-court Osborne Tennis Complex and a refrigerated ice rink (City of Chubbuck). The softball fields are the home fields for Chubbuck Youth Softball.)

Packing notes

The infields are skinned dirt with warning tracks, so bring a brush or towel to knock the dirt off gear between games.
Capell Park also has tennis courts and an ice rink, so follow the signs to the softball side and confirm your field before you unload.
Bring sunscreen, a pop-up canopy and plenty of water for the dry Portneuf Valley sun, plus layers for cool mornings and evenings.
