Field surface: Turf infields; outfields not stated
Partly verified. Rome-Floyd County Parks & Recreation says Alto Park's ball fields got new synthetic turf infields in its 2023 SPLOST renovation (its photos show the Upper Alto complex). It doesn't say whether every field, including Lower Alto (Fields 6-8), was included, and we haven't found a published source for the outfield surface, so check your field if surface matters. (8 baseball/softball fields: five at Upper Alto (Fields 1-5) and three at Lower Alto (Fields 6-8), plus six batting cages (Georgia's Rome; Rome-Floyd County Parks & Recreation).)
