Field surface: Turf infields
Turf infields on all three diamonds. The City of Mercer Island's 2026 Athletic Facilities Guide lists SMP Fields 1 and 2 with turf infields and grass outfields, and SMP Field 3 as a full turf field. (SMP Field 1: turf infield, grass outfield, 225'+ fence, no lights. SMP Field 2: turf infield, grass outfield, no fence, no lights. SMP Field 3: full turf, 200'+ fence, lights for a fee. All three: 60', 65' and 70' basepaths, 43' and 46' pitching distances (City of Mercer Island). Two more turf fields (West and East) are for soccer, lacrosse and T-ball.)
