The city's 2026 field-allocation policy lists the Sports Park's diamonds as "Baseball/Softball Grass Fields," and its synthetic turf is on the two soccer fields only. The city closes the baseball fields each summer for natural-grass renovation. It doesn't describe the infield skin. (5 lighted baseball/softball diamonds, plus 2 synthetic-turf and 3 grass multi-purpose fields (City of Lake Forest).)
