Field surface: Dirt infields
Clay (dirt) infields. When the complex was built, the Spokesman-Review reported that the only dirt brought in from off site was the clay for the infields of the five ballfields; the complex's two synthetic turf fields are soccer fields. The City of Spokane now lists six ball diamonds (five lit), and we didn't find a surface for the sixth. Check with your event. - RV parking is allowed only for specific tournaments the city approves (Merkel only, not Franklin Park): dry camping with no hook-ups, assigned permit spots, reserve and pay at least 1 day ahead, quiet hours 10pm–7am (City of Spokane RV rules).
