Dirt infields. An NSA Washington tournament listing gives the field type as turf at Skagit and dirt at Bender Fields. The Lynden Tribune reported in August 2025 that artificial turf on all eight infields is a planned third phase of a renovation that still depends on fundraising, and we found no report that it has been installed. (8 fields in two groups: Fields 1–4 (lighted) and Fields 5–8 to the west (Lynden Tribune). Two new buildings with concessions, restrooms and press boxes between the field groups are the renovation's first phase.)
